Meet Our
Minature Da
chshund
Breede
rs!
J&L's Oscar P. Myers
This is Oscar doing what he loves the
most in the world, playing with his
bottles.
In our yard, we have plastic bottles
hanging from the trees. Oscar loves
to play volleyball, and he keeps score!
He wants you to tell him that he is the
best bottle hitter in the world. If he
isn't hitting his bottles in the trees,
he is barking at anyone who will pay
attention, wanting them to throw his
bottle so he can go attack it.
Oscar is red dapple with one blue
eye. He comes from a wonderful line
of Dachshunds from Franklin, Texas.
He throws piebald and red dapple,
and his pups have blue, brown and
green eyes.
Our lady, J&L's Dolly Maddison
Our sweet little Maddie
is a beautiful little lady
and a wonderful momma. She is light
red, which a cream chest. She has the
most beautiful babies with Oscar!
Maddie is Oscar's
primary mate, however,
Maddie is retiring and
will be replaced by
J&L's Gingerbread Cookie.
While Maddie won't be a breeder, she
will still be our little sweetheart.

Kim's Christmas Candi
This is our silly Candi. She is
a mess. This little girl loves
to hunt in the woods and
likes to drive us crazy with
her ability to escape! Skunks,
armadillos, deer, she has no
problem running off for a
day of hunting. The ONLY
time she behaves herself is
when she is expecting.
SHEESH! We are gonna be in
trouble when she retires!
Candi is a shiny black and
tan. Her eyes are brown,
though they glow blue in
the light. We chose Candi
because of all the Black
and Tans we saw, she has
the silkiest, shiniest coat.
Candi is Frankie's primary
mate, as we look for
another lady to take her
place when she retires.
J&L's Frank Footer
Frankie, Frankie, Frankie!
What can I say about my goofy
little boy? I knew he was mine
the moment I saw his picture.
He looks like a piece of chocolate
and marshmallow melted in the
sun. He is long haired black and
tan silver dapple and he is a
sausage dog! Frankie never
strays far from his food dish. He
is the first one back in his pen at
night and he jumps up on his
dog house and barks at me until
his dinner is served. "Feed
Frankie" is what he is saying,
with a demanding little
bark......so, I feed him
last....which is part of the game
that we play every single day.
When I finally get his dinner he
licks my ears and neck as I bend
down next to him.
What a funny boy he is!
